The Naked 2 Palette by Urban Decay

 Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette

Following the best selling original Naked palette, comes the Naked 2 palette. I do not own the original Naked palette so I can not compare these two. The Naked 2 palette contains 12 eyeshadows: 3 matte and 9 shimmer. The packaging comes in a metal tin opposed to the velvet packaging of the original Naked palette. The palette also comes with a double ended makeup brush and a lipgloss. I use the brush every day and have found it to be one of my favorite blending brushes. On the other hand, the lipgloss is not one of my favorite.
After having this palette for a little over four months and using it everyday, it is in pretty good shape. I did drop it and a little bit of Blackout did fall out. Three of the pans also fell out but I fixed that with some super glue. Other than that, I have no complaints about the packaging.

Foxy- I usually use Foxy all over my lid for a good base color just to even out my skin tone. It is a matte color and has good payoff. It is kind of hard to see because of my light skin tone, it blends in a lot.
Half Baked- Half baked is a very gorgeous color. It not only swatches well but it looks so pretty on the lid. It has amazing payoff like a lot of the more shimmery colors do.
Bootycall- Bootycall is a good shimmery alternative to foxy. Sometimes I use Bootycall all over my lid if I want a more intense look.
Chopper- Chopper is a great crease color if you are going for a more daytime natural look. Blends beautifully and swatches great as you can see.

Tease- Tease can be a tricky one to swatch because it is matte. I normally just use tease for a blending out color to make the transition from my crease color to my brow more natural.
Snakebite- Snakebite is one of the more brown shades in the palette. It has wonderful shimmer and has a great payoff.
Suspect- I love Suspect. It could be an all over lid color if you just want something simple. Great color. One of my favorites from the palette.
Pistol- I don't usually wear pistol a lot. It had a somewhat blue/gray undertone and I don't find that to look nice on my skin tone.

Verve- Verve is like the silver version of suspect. I use this a lot when I go for the more cooler eye shadow looks.
YDK- YDK is a great crease color. It is a deep gold color and has lots of shimmer in it. Swatches and blends perfectly.
Busted- Busted is my all time favorite eye shadow. I tend to go for more deeper plum looks when I am doing a smokey eye instead of black because plum is a lot more forgiving. I use this shadow almost everyday in my crease. Perfect plum color.
Blackout- Blackout is a matte black. I usually only use this when I want to set my eyeliners. Good black. Not my favorite though.

Overall, I love this palette. It will continue to be a staple in my everyday makeup routine. Go buy the palette and see for yourself how amazing it is!

Welcome!

I am a beauty junkie living in Pennsylvania going to college full time to become a teacher! So why not teach people about beauty? My dream was to always become a makeup artist or do anything in the beauty world but for now, beauty blogging is what I have and I'm going to make the most of it!
I first became really interested in makeup about 4 or 5 years ago when I started to watch videos on YouTube of beauty gurus. I've been hooked on makeup every since. A few years ago, I was taking a photography class and I decided to make my subject about makeup. So I did a couple friends makeup, some crazy looks and some more natural, and I photographed them. The pictures above are some of the many pictures I took that semester. I will be adding a Naked 2 palette review tomorrow!
Hope you enjoy!
